1. Introduction
Welcome to The Trailer Crypt. This Privacy Policy explains how The Crypt collects, use, and protects your information when you visit our website, read our articles, or interact with our community. By using our site, you agree to the practices outlined below.
2. Information We Collect
Newsletter Subscriptions: When you sign up for “Never Miss a Drop,” The Crypt collects your email address. Our site uses this solely to send our weekly trailer breakdowns and release alerts. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of our emails.
Analytics: Our site uses lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which trailers and breakdowns our audience cares about most. We do not track personally identifiable information.
3. Third-Party Embeds (Crucial)
To maintain site speed and respect copyright, The Trailer Crypt does not host video files directly. We rely on embedded players from sources such as YouTube, Vimeo and others to display trailers. When you load a page with an embedded video, you are subject to the privacy policies of those respective platforms. We do not control how these 3rd parties track your viewing data.
4. Cookies
Our site uses minimal cookies to ensure the site functions correctly (such as remembering your theme preference if we enable the light mode). The Crypt does not use invasive third-party advertising cookies.
5. External Links
Our articles may frequently link to external studio pages, ticketing sites, or social media posts. The Crypt is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.
6. Contact Us
If you have questions about this policy, or want to request the deletion of your data (such as your email for the newsletter subscription), please reach out to The Crypt at business@thetrailercrypt.com.
